History The Great Falls Rescue Squad was chartered on July 25, 1955 with SC Secretary of State as an nonprofit corporation located in Great Falls, South Carolina. The Squad has grown from a group of caring individuals who were trained only by their will to help others to a present day group of knowledgeable, skilled individuals trained to provide emergency services for a multitude of accidents/illnesses. Skill levels range from volunteers wanting to assist with fundraisers to drivers, first responders, emergency medical technician-basic, emergency medical technician-intermediate, emergency medical technician-advanced (paramedics), and registered nurses. |
